RG is pleased to launch the interactive Tourism London Tree Trunk Tour. The Tour is based on a tree sculpture program which utilizes trees that have reached the end of their life expectancy and then transforms them into exceptional pieces of public art that enhances London’s ’Forest City’ image. What makes them unique is that they are created almost exclusively using chain saws! The Tour can be reached from the Tourism London website.
The tree carving endeavour was initially a project of the Woodfield Neighbourhood Association in downtown London. The program has since been expanded beyond the boundaries of the Woodfield community through a partnership between the City of London, STIHL Limited and Tourism London. At the present time, the tour involves 11 carvings with an additional 4 to 6 carvings being completed before the end of the year.
Over the past six months I have worked with Response Generators as a content consultant for a new initiative. I thoroughly enjoyed this positive experience! The team at Response were always open to suggestions and eager to implement ideas to enhance the project. I was most impressed with how quickly we were able to turn the concept into reality in such a professional way that was always a lot of fun! It has been my pleasure to work along side the amazing team at Reponse Generators to see this initiative come to fruition. I look forward to the opportunity to engage in future projects together!

The Country Cruize-In, now in its fifth year, is very likely the largest classic car event in Canada. Hallmarks of each event include original performers appearing on the Friday and Saturday evening events under Canada’s largest pole tent. Headliners this year are Little Anthony and The Imperials on Friday night, and Martha and The Vandellas on Saturday night in a fully catered evening for 2,500 guests. Special exhibits include the popular Steam display, the first appearance of the GM Futurliner #10 in 47 years in Canada, and George Barris returns with more Barris customs including the Batmoblie, Monkeemobile and many other treats. Plus a grand entrance on Saturday by the original dynamic duo Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) in the fully restored Batcopter.

We are thrilled to be working with RM Auctions to create a completely new design for RM Auctions’ website. Mandates for this new site include interpreting the fresh “white swiss design” formats that replaced the black background styles used in each auction catalogue. New functionality includes a site-within-a-site format that rotates feature lots on the Home Page.
Technical partner rTraction will make heavy use of flash animation for transitions and menu displays. The redesign is timed to launch prior to RM Auctions’ European event in Italy this May.

RG is getting ready to hit the open road with Rocky’s and Kitchener’s Harley-Davidson dealerships by taking over their customer relations direct mail and newsletter programs. In the first phase of a larger program RG will be responsible for increasing customer interactions and sales tools using variable imaging print technology. Customer letters and surveys, and seasonal newsletters will feature variable fields that use database information to communicate with customers and prospects using relevant information to their buying behaviors so as to provide appealing information to each specific customer.
The RG team is very pleased to be working with the London and Kitchener Harley-Davidson dealerships in what we foresee as an exciting ride.

Health Centre Pharmacy, St. Thomas, planned to leave their branded buying group and become an independent pharmacy February, 2008. The challenge was to give the now independent business a strong corporate identity that made it look like a much bigger enterprise. Much of the former branding of housebrand and generic products were removed from the shelves February 1st, making way to white store branding and future Health Centre Pharmacy branding as the store buying shifted to new vendors. Response developed the new logo and colours for owner Dave Yurick. Working with Perfect Signs, fresh signage replaces the former National branding. From labels to counsel sheets and uniforms, the “Big Pill” brand translated across all branding applications. Fresh colours replaced the National brand green. The entire project took place over the month of December and was well staged to make an over-night transformation the same day the National contract ended.
It is well known that obesity or being overweight is a growing epidemic among children, leading to an increase in diabetes and other serious health effects.
How do you help children lose weight? By providing healthy meals and snacks, and encouraging regular exercise, school aged children stand a greater chance of shedding extra pounds and developing greater self-confidence.
Client Bowlerama Royale decided to tackle childhood obesity with a program that was developed by Response Generators and the Middlesex-London Health Unit called “Strike it Healthy”.
Bowlerama had available inventory of open bowling from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm weekdays; a typical slow time of the week for adult bowlers. Response developed a school program with the help of Heather Thomas at the London-Middlesex Health Unit and some other concerned corporate partners, including London Civic Employees Credit Union and Sunripe Markets. Response brought the four partners together to create Strike it Healthy. The components include a lesson planner geared to specific grades with a focus on nutrition and exercise. Bowlerama offered attractive group rates to school aged children from grades 1-8 and high school grades 9-12 for two hours of bowling with shoes, a lesson planner and healthy snacks from Sunripe Markets.
Bowling is a low impact sport that requires basic concentration and delivers calorie burning exercise in a social environment. Up to 6 players per lane can play, snack and enjoy the skill-testing activity while benefiting from the positive effects of physical activity.
Based on the success of this pilot study, Strike it Healthy is scaleable to other communities to help fight childhood obesity.
